I transferred to Cleveland State where I got my bachelors of Science in Biology. I then had the opportunity to spend a month in Australia where I planted thousands of trees, snorkled in the Great Barrier Reef and made life long friends. After years of working retail jobs and a two year stay in Virginia, I returned to Ohio and was welcomed with open arms at Meadowlands!

  • Emma Henry
    Vet Assistant

Hi everyone! My name is Emma. I’ve worked in the pet industry for almost three years now. Along with Meadowlands, I also work part time at a doggy daycare. I’ve grown up loving all animals, but I have a special place in my heart for pitbulls. I have a 6 year old pit named Mya (pictured), she loves cats and playing frisbee. I would love to one day have a small farm & work with the ASPCA to help animals in need.

  • Stephanie Reed

My name is Stephanie I graduated High School in 1991. I then Graduated from the Lorain County Adult Career Center with a Certificate in Health Care . After that I had my first of 3 children and decided that being a stay at home mom was the best option for me, and boy did it keep my busy! Starting at a young age I was very active in 4-H caring for all sorts of different animals; Varying from mice to raising a Grand Champion Breeding Ewe named Daisy! Once all of my kids were old enough, I started my own 4-H club for them to participate in and continued on as the Advisor for 10 years. During that time we raised Market lambs, Pygmy goats and rabbits. After my children outgrew the 4-H club I found myself working a couple of different jobs, but my truest passion has always been helping and caring for animals. I am so happy to have found Meadowlands where I can have a career I look forward to everyday.  When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my Grandchildren and my Shichon’s Oliver James & Sadie Mae, and my cat Scout, when not with my family you’ll find me Reading, Painting or Crafting.

  • Breanna McKinney
    Vet Technician Student

Hi I’m Breanna. I’m currently enrolled at Stautzenberger College to become a registered technician. When I’m not at work or school all of my free time gets eaten up by my daughter, Rhyliee. Although I am an animal lover of all sorts, the only pet that I currently have is Moe, a kitten that I rescued in the fall of 2018. In the past I spent five years running a farm and raising large animals, and now today I am happy to be a part of the staff at Meadowlands Veterinary Center!

  • Nicole Nark

Hi, my name is Nicole! I am a senior at Lake Erie College where I am majoring in biology and minoring in math and chemistry.  I am on a pre-veterinary track and the president of the pre-vet club at my college.  I've always had a passion for science and a strong love for animalsand this is the field that combines the two perfectly! I wish to attend veterinary school once I graduate with my bachelors degree. I started as an intern here at Meadowlands Veterinary Center 1 year ago and have been working as a vet assistant ever since!  Meadowlands has taught me so much and the doctors, technicians, and staff have made this experience great for me!  I have my sweet dog Angel, who I've had since I was in 4th grade, and two crazy cats, Oliver and Koda.
