Our digital xray unit has improved our workflow and allows us to manipulate the images to improve the diagnostics. It also allows the images to be viewed in all the exam rooms with the client. Images can be sent with the client on a c/d disk and they can be forwarded to radiology specialist for review over the internet and to receive a report in just a few hours. This also has allowed us to convert our old darkroom to the dental suite and to eliminate the need to store and handle toxic chemicals and burdonsome xray films.
